My name is Joseph Wesley, founder of Bluebird Aero, and my story begins in the mid-1980s. I can barely remember a time when aviation wasn’t part of my life. I was raised around airplanes, my Grandfather and Nan would fly my two cousins, my brother, and me to Canada every summer for fishing trips in a twin-engine Beechcraft Baron. Over the years, I occasionally took the controls, and the feeling was simply indescribable. It took some time, but eventually my love for aviation took hold. More than thirty years later, I’m a full-blown aviation addict.
I’ve always enjoyed thinking of ways to make flying fun and easier. That mindset led me to design a rugged, proudly Made in America iPad case that not only protects, cools, and powers your device, but also provides battery backup, an all in one consolidated package. Nothing on the market met all of my needs, so I built a prototype. From that idea, the Bluebird Aero Pilot Case was born.
