How does the Bluebird Aero Pilot Case work?
The Bluebird Aero Pilot Case uses an internal high-efficiency fan to draw in cool air and direct it across the back of your iPad, preventing overheating even in demanding environments. With a simple press of the power button, the system provides over 6 hours of continuous cooling—no external cables required.
A high-capacity rechargeable internal battery powers the cooling system and also functions as a backup power source. By plugging into the case’s USB-C charging port, you can charge mobile phones, headsets, iPads and other common USB-powered devices directly from the case.
In addition to cooling and power, the Bluebird Aero Pilot Case offers robust protection, shielding your iPad from impacts and everyday wear. When the internal battery needs recharging, simply connect a USB-C cable to the IN port.
Which mounting accessories work with the Bluebird Aero Cooling Case?
Bluebird Aero’s Pilot Case is designed with mount compatibility in mind.
It works seamlessly with the most widely used aviation mounting ecosystems:
• MyGoFlight — Compatible with the Sport Mount System when using the MNT-1665 Sport Camera Adapter
• RAM Mounts — Compatible with RAM’s X-Grip and other common RAM tablet mounting solutions
• PIVOT – Compatible with PIVOTS precision square mounting interface
Drone Pilots
For drone operators, the Bluebird Aero Pilot Case is fully compatible with all MAVMOUNT Controller Adapters, along with several other popular mounting systems used across the drone community.
How long can the fan keep the iPad cool?
Our high-capacity internal battery, paired with a 6 CFM cooling fan, provides cable free runtimes of well over six hours.
Do you offer a warranty?
It is our sincere expectation that our products will provide years of service. However, in the event an issue were to occur, Bluebird Aero Cooling Case electronics are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 6 months from the date of purchase. Bluebird Aero Cooling Case frames are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase This warranty is subject to the terms and conditions set forth in this Limited Warranty.
This warranty is limited to the original purchaser and is not transferable to subsequent purchasers. This warranty specifically excludes all incidental and consequential damages, implied warranties of merchantability and warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, and is limited to the express written terms of this Limited Warranty.
If during the warranty period, your Bluebird Aero Cooling Case malfunctions as a result of faulty materials or workmanship, we will repair the defect(s) or replace subject electronics as deemed appropriate at our sole discretion. If replacement is deemed necessary by our service department, we will replace it with one of the same or most similar products available at the time of service and of similar value.
